HOW TO USE APPLE CIDER VINEGAR AS MEDICINE
Thanks you Bragg’s!
Apple cider vinegar truly is an amazing medicine. Simply mix two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with 4 tablespoons of water. Add in two tablespoons of honey and mix.
This incredible medicine helps to aid in digestion, blood circulation, and can even soothe a sore throat! It has also been documented to improve kidney and blood vessel function, which can help combat heart disease. Fertility can also be improved through apple cider vinegar! Lastly, apple cider vinegar has also been found to be a great ally in maintaining body weight and lowers high blood pressure.
Here is how you can use apple cider vinegar as medicine to combat almost anything and everything:
Gargle the apple cider vinegar and honey mixture. This will soothe your throat, cough, and can help settle the stomach.
For headaches, mix two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with two tablespoons of honey. Mix well and drink the entire liquid. Your headache will be gone in minutes!
High blood pressure
For high blood pressure, mix two tablespoons with a glass of water. Consume this mixture 3 times a day in order to lower blood pressure!
Mix 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in 1 cup of honey. Store this mixture in a sealable jar. Consume two tablespoons of the mixture every night before bed.
Add two tables spoons of apple cider vinegar into a glass of water. Do this as many times as possible throughout the day to combat the sinus pain.
Apply apple cider vinegar to the burn as many times as possible throughout the day. It will reduce pain and redness significantly.
Mix 1 part apple cider vinegar to every 2-3 parts water (depending on how much you want to make). Wash your face with this mixture 2-3 times a day.
Drink two glasses of water, each mixed with two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, every morning on an empty stomach.

10 Ways To Care For Yourself When You Feel Burnt Out
Stress is an inevitable part of life. Career, family, friends, taking time for YOU, it is hard not to have some stress in today’s busy ways of living. If we cannot get away from stress then we must learn how to manage stress in a way that reduces the negative physical and mental impacts it can have on us. Learning to manage stress in a healthy way is vital to overall long term health and wellbeing.
Stress not managed in a healthy way can have a severe impact on your health and body, making you age internally as much as 32 years beyond your calendar age! Remember YOU are important too and taking time to care for yourself is one of the best ways to show self love and care.
10 Simple Things To Do When We’re In Over Our Heads.
Community. Hanging out with friends helps us feel better. Spending time with actual human beings boosts our mood. It energises us, even if it’s people we don’t really know, at the local café. Sharing smiles with people gives us a lasting warm fuzzy.
Take breaks. No one can thrive when we’re sitting at the computer for hours on end, all day long. Take a five minute break every hour. Walk to the water cooler and rehydrate, do 10 jumping jacks, do a deep forward bend, walk to the break room and refill your coffee cup, have a quick phone chat with a friend or step outside and take a peek at the sky.
Get enough fresh air and sunshine. This is important, especially in the wintertime. Spending time outside breaks up the monotony and reconnects us to nature. An easy way to “cheat” is to walk or bike to work. If we have to bus or car commute, park a few blocks away from the office. If we work at home, a quick walk around the block will suffice. If it’s cold, bundle up. There are really no excuses when it comes to being outside and enjoying the day at least a little bit.
Eat food cooked with love. Make sure to eat enough veggies. Eat real food and avoid processed and packaged food. Have a snack— if you’re experiencing mood-faliure, get your blood sugar up.
Meditate. Practice sitting meditation every day for at least 10 minutes. If you’re too busy, meditate for one hour. Our minds are made for thinking. Consciously taking a break from our thoughts heals stress on many levels. I meditate every day for 10 minutes, first thing in the morning. It makes me feel like I’m cloaked in a protective blanket all day long.
Exercise. Our bodies are made to move. People have a lot of energy and sitting still for too long can drive us stir crazy. Exercise, even a little bit, is important everyday. It releases negativity and makes us feel good. It gets our heart pumping and our lungs breathing. My favorite ways to exercise are walking the dog, biking, hiking, yoga, dancing, skiing, snow shoveling, gardening and sex.
House Plants. It’s nice to share space with other living things. House plants are natural air filters. They live on water and sunlight. That’s affordable! They bring relaxing and cheerful energy to a room. They are quiet. If you have to vent, houseplants are good listeners.
Stretch. Practicing yoga, even a little bit, breaks up the” fuzz” between our muscles and fascial tissue. A good stretch can give us the “space” we need to buckle down and take care of our responsibilities.
Get enough sleep. Our bodies are rejuvenated with a good night’s sleep. Enjoy a relaxing ritual before bed, to ensure a restful night. Have a cup of chamomile tea, meditate, take a hot epsom salt bath, or read for 15 minutes.
Laugh. Read something funny. Talk to someone funny. Watch a funny video. Amuse yourself. Laughter really is the best medicine.
In today’s busy world, it’s easy for anyone to feel overwhelmed; using creative solutions to deal with stress can help us prevent burnout.

HERBAL BODY WRAP
Unwrap a new you!
Our skin is our body’s largest organ. We sometimes think of it as a waterproof covering, but it is actually extremely absorbent. It’s an ideal delivery portal, as well as an exit for excreting impurities. Herbal Body Wrap takes advantage of both pathways. The rejuvenating business end of this do-it-yourself spa treatment is Herbal Body Wrap’s proprietary blend of 27 select minerals and herbs, featuring Aloe vera. More than just an amazing healing agent, Aloe vera also helps carry nutrients and other topical treatments into the skin.
Special towels soaked in Herbal Body Wrap’s warm mineral solution are wrapped directly upon clean skin and over-wrapped with plastic, then covered further with warm towels and blankets. Then for the next hour you simply relax and enjoy the soothing and aromatic treatment. When you finally uncover, you may find that your skin has a more toned and firmed appearance. Drinking eight glasses of water daily for the next five days further facilitates the ongoing detoxification. One bottle of Herbal Body Wrap is enough for one treatment. At the end, unveiled is an entirely refreshed and revitalized new you.
The first change I encourage people to do when they know they are in trouble is to lower your stress, by self nurturing, drink plenty of good healthy water. Chug it. and flush your system with gratitude, and doing everything you know what to do.
If you don’t know what to do next call me, we will work as a team to get you back in balance.
Let me give you some steps that you can take on your own if you don’t choose to call me.
The biggest mistake that I can see people make when starting a program to clean the crud out of their system is they need to start at the bottom of the digestive tract, just like a plumber doesn’t get to a clog by starting in the middle of the pipe, the end of the pipe needs to be clear for the clog to have somewhere to go, which is out.
So we always start in the bowel. There are many ways to accomplish this, I would recommend some kind of guidance for any questions or concerns that might come up.
Just for fun!
To see how long your digestion is taking eat a beet and time how long it takes to get through your bowel. A healthy bowel takes …….
The programs I recommend can be integrated into your lifestyle, so you don’t have to be concerned about being close to a bathroom.
There are two that I find one to be more aggressive and the other to be more mild. You can start with the mild, can always do the more aggressive later. What determines that is
1) your health level
2) your willingness to participate
Dr Schulze’s Intestinal Formula #1 is the more aggressive one.
This was put together for actors that could not take long in the bathroom because it would cause the set millions a minute. So it had to take everything into consideration, simple, easy, life intergrating.
2 week Herbal Bowel Cleansing Program
Day #1 Start with only one capsule of Intestinal Corrective Formula #1 during or just after dinner. This formula works best when mixed with food.
Day #2 This morning you should notice a increase in your bowel action and in the amount of fecal matte that you eliminate. The consistency should also be softer. If you do not notice any difference in your bowel behavior today or the difference wasn’t dramatic, then tonight increase your dosage to two capsules. You can continue to increase your dosage every evening by one capsule until you notice a dramatic difference in the way your bowel works. It has taken most of us years to create a sluggish bowel so lets be patient for a few days and increase by one capsule each day only.
By the end of the first week you should know what your dosage is. If not, then remain on this formula alone for an additional week to get regulated before you go on to the next step.

April 2011 Cayenne Pepper for Acute and chronic conditions
Hello fellow Elks, the next 1st Friday of the month I will be at a
table in the Atrium area offering tips on self care that you can do at
home. This month is all about Cayenne Pepper as a major first aid tool
and circulatory manager.
If someone has an heart attack or a stroke, wouldn’t it be very
helpful to know what to do besides call 911? After you call 911 while
they are on their way you can be proactive for the victim by giving
them cayenne orally.
It would be best to have a preparation ready (which I will show you
how to make on Friday April 1st during the monthly Fish Fry).
If you don’t have a prepared preparation.
1) Go into the kitchen and find cayenne pepper (most kitchen have it)
2) Quick as possible get a cup, pour the cayenne in and add water,
mix, and give them it orally.
3) That might sustain them until help arrives.
That way you don’t have to feel totally helpless as your loved ones
life is compromised.
Cayenne is a circulatory food herb that is very powerful and has many
medicinal uses. I will show you more uses at the talk on Friday Fish
night, I don’t go anywhere without it.
I hope this information is helpful to you, if you want to learn more
see you at the Health Corner!

This months topic is “How To Create Weight Loss” Herbal secrets to transition the body into balance, for ideal individual weight, which is way different then a Diet. Most Diets have you lose weight, lose health, get sick, and give up.
A better plan is to work with your individual body and lifestyle. To integrate lifestyle changes not force them upon you unnaturally, because that is just no fun and the weight usually comes back.
There are individual programs that work naturally and are easy, if it is not easy people quit, we all know that creating ideal weight in such a abundant society is not easy at all.
So lets make it easy, get results and go from there.
You are welcome to come join me and others at the monthly Elks Health Corner on the first Friday of the month during the fish fry in the atrium. You can enjoy your meal and learn tips on health that you might not know is available. It is not about giving up the foods you enjoy, it is about helping your body with your choices.
Knowledge with action is power.

Equal Parts (except the Habaneros)

2. Ginger, a large root
3. Cayenne or Habanero peppers, amount depends on your tolerance level. Usually 3-5 peppers for every 32 oz bottle of vinegar. The hotter the better!
4. Horseradish root, a large root
5. White Onion, a couple large bulbs or a few smaller ones
6. Raw unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar; this is the base of the tincture. 1-2 bottles depending on how much you are making
A explanation of why these ingredients
Destroys any virus, any bacteria, any pathogens, anything that will hurt you
It strengthens your body
(Two greatest herbs to boost your circulation, to get the blood all over your body)
Drives blood to the extremities
(Habaneros, Serranos, hottest)
Blasts the circulation
Drives blood throughout body
Breaks up the blockage to heal you
4. Horseradish Root
Goes right to the head opening up any congestion
5. White Onion
Next of kin to Garlic
Back-up for Garlic
Works in head to open up sinuses
6. Apple Cider Vinegar
Extracts components from herbs
Preserves Supertonic (it already has gone bad or fermented)
Creates a liquid extract for easy assimilation and convenient
After gathering the herbs:
Peel the onion and garlic, chop ingredients somewhat so they will blend better.
Place all ingredients in a blender, cover herbs with apple cider vinegar, fill till it floats, blend until everything is thoroughly chopped and appears pulpy.
Pour mixture through a cloth or strainer. Squeeze the “juice” into a large bowl
Transfer the tincture into a glass bottle or jar with a tight lid and label it with the date it was made along with the ingredients
Store in a cool, dark place such as a cabinet or shed.
It is typically ideal to make your herbal tinctures on the NEW MOON, and pour them off on the
FULL MOON. It is also a good idea to let the concoction “brew” for about 2 weeks or even longer, shaking the jar at least once daily. However, this recipe is also very effective if needed to be used immediately.
Health is not a commodity, you have to pay back what you withdraw or expect from your body, make the balance happen by proactive nurturing behaviors and your benefits are huge. Enjoy, I a look forward to serving you with more information in the near future. Because it is not about giving up anything it is about integrating health into your lifestyle, and everything will balance itself out.
May we all be blessed with good health.
